Alvar is a classic patterned sweater knitted in Atlas. The sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases and pattern according to the chart, and has a timeless look rooted in traditional knitwear.

All patterns are in English. Pattern for this design is an electronic PDF download, and the price of the pattern is included in this bundle. Pattern is only available with corresponding yarn.

Product Details

The sweater is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch with a pattern. Stitches are first cast on for the yoke, which is worked back and forth with raglan increases, while stitches are cast on for the front to create a slightly deeper neckline. The work is then joined and continued in the round with raglan increases and pattern according to the chart. When all increases have been completed, the work is divided for sleeves, front and back, and each section is finished separately. The neckband is worked last. The model is 189 cm tall and wears a size 2.
