Slippers are worked double.
For a seamless edge at heel back, cast on sts using Judy’s magic cast on method. Option: cast on sts in regular manner and sew cast on edge tog at finishing.
Beg with the part around ankle and heel. Divide work, cast on new sts for instep and work each foot separately.
Felt slippers before putting one slipper into the other.
If roomy slippers are preferred, choose a larger size.
To avoid sliding slippers, soles can be sewn on. Leather soles are available in various sizes, or use anti slide paste from tubes.
Decorate slippers with crocheted roses, or embroider wreath or circle and with initials on instep. Left over yarn can be used for this.
