Product Details
The sweater is worked from the top down using two strands held together.
Stitches are first cast on for the neckline, and the work is knitted in the round with increases for raglan shaping. The work is then divided into sleeves, front and back, and each section is completed separately.
On the sleeves, front and back, one of the strands is gradually replaced with a different colour to create a marled stripe. The second strand is then also replaced. The sweater is finished with a third colour that creates a contrast stripe at the lower edge, before the stitches are cast off to form a rolled edge.
Stitches are picked up for the neckline, which is worked in twisted rib. You can choose between a narrow neckline or a wide neckline for an off-the-shoulder fit.
The pattern includes both Tottori Sweater and Tottori Sweater Junior.
