The ANNE MARIE EDITION sweater is a timeless, slim-fit design with feminine details. It is knitted top-down in Børstet Alpakka and Tynn Silk Mohair, giving it an elegant drape with raglan increases and long ribbed edges. The straight sleeves and contrasting rib details add a look that is both classic and modern.

Børstet (Brushed) Alpakka

With its airy texture and light weight, Børstet Alpakka is the ideal choice for creating soft and comfortable garments that are perfect for all seasons. The brushed finish gives the yarn a fuzzy texture that adds an extra layer of softness to each stitch, making it a great choice for baby clothes, blankets, scarves, and hats.

96% brushed alpaca and 4% nylon.
Running length per 50 grams = about 110 meters/120 yds
Recommended wool detergent: Mild. The garment must be washed separately.

Swatch shows 16 stitches per 10 cm (4") for size 5 needle; 12 stitches per 10cm for size 7 needle.

Tynn Silk Mohair is a soft and luxurious yarn blend made of the finest mohair, wool, and silk fibers. It is thin, lightweight, and goes a long way, making it perfect for creating airy and elegant garments. Using one or multiple strands of Tynn Silk Mohair will give you a plush and airy end product. It can also be used as an accompanying strand with other yarns to add a touch of luxury and structure to your garment.

Product Details

Idunn & Sofie Vollan – Norwegian twin sisters who have quickly gained international attention through collaborations with luxury houses like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Louis Vuitton – have now teamed up with us at Sandnes Garn.

For over a year, we’ve worked side by side – from the very first sketches and yarn tests, to the final stitch. The result is The Vollan Sweater: a unique blend of slow fashion and trend, heritage and modernity, personality and timelessness. Crafted in our soft, sustainable yarns, Børstet Alpakka and Tynn Silk Mohair.

This is a sweater made to be worn everywhere – just as naturally on the streets of New York as by the fireplace in a mountain cabin in Norway.

For Idunn and Sofie, the project is also deeply personal. They grew up with grandmothers who not only knitted for them, but also passed on their love for the craft. That’s why the sweaters are named after their grandmothers:

– Liv, with flowing trumpet sleeves
– Anne Marie, with classic straight sleeves

A tribute across generations, created in Norway – and made for knitters all around the world.
