The hat is knitted from the bottom up. The knit first a rib, and then one folding edge, then turn the work inside out and it is knitted semi-patent before the work turn again and knit a new one folding edge. Then knit one rib before finishing hat semi-patent. The hat should be folded twice outwards so that the edge around the head sits well.
