Single pattern / 2608 Norwegian Icons Junior / Nr. 3

Eilif Junior is worked from the top down in Alpakka Ull, with raglan increases and a pattern worked from a chart. A classic patterned sweater with a soft look and a folded double neckband.

All patterns are in English.  Pattern for this design is an electronic PDF download, and the price of the pattern is included in this bundle. Pattern is only available with corresponding yarn.

Needles used (find conversions to US sizes here):

  • Knitting Needles: Knitting Needle no. 3½, Knitting Needle no. 4
  • Knitting tension: 20 sts = 10 cm

Alpakka Ull

Alpakka Ull contains 65% alpaca and 35% wool. This premium quality yarn combines the best of both alpaca and wool to create a fiber that is both light and warm. The alpaca fiber provides the softness and insulation properties, while the wool contributes to the lightness and elasticity of the yarn.

Product Details

The sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases and pattern according to chart. Stitches are first cast on for the yoke, which is worked back and forth with raglan increases, while stitches are cast on at each side to shape a deeper neckline. The work is then joined and continued in the round with raglan increases. The work is divided for sleeves, front and back, and each section is finished separately with pattern according to chart. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckband, which is folded double and sewn down.
