Introducing ALPAKKA SILKE, a luxurious blend of 70% baby alpaca and 30% mulberry silk, is epitome of softness and comfort. The combination of the silky smoothness of mulberry silk and the softness of baby alpaca creates a fabric that is gentle and cool against the skin, making it the perfect choice for baby clothes and accessories.

Baby alpaca is not fiber from cute little alpaca babies; it’s the term used for alpaca fiber between 20-23 microns (micrometers) and is one of the finest and softest alpaca grades used for hand-knitting yarn.

Running length per 50gr skein = about 200 meters/219 yds
Swatch shows 27 stitches per 10 cm (4").
