“In my opinion, every wardrobe needs a Big Cozy Cardi to pull on all year round! This cocoon cardi is full of texture and cozy to the max with its baby Suri alpaca collar! This sweater is worked from the bottom up with a small amount of seaming to create the armholes. The shawl collar and sleeve cuffs are then picked up and knit on to the body of the sweater.” -Andrea Mowry

SUGGESTED YARN
For this sweater I chose a lovely wool blend of Cormo, Merino & Romney for the body of the sweater. This blend is soft, bouncy and woolly and I love how it showed off the textured stitch pattern. For the collar I wanted to the coziest yarn I could find, and this Suri Alpaca fit the bill to a T!
Substitution Yarn :
Sandnes Garn Tove + Tynn Silk Mohair (note that this is not the yarn noted in the pattern; please always swatch to make sure you are getting the same gauge as the pattern requires). We would also suggest Tynn Peer Gynt + Brushed Alpakka; please reach out if you need any help or have questions!
Both are listed below so you can select the yarn you prefer.
