Kit includes: sessions, pattern for KAL, and yarn for size 1 + 2 with short sleeves (for larger size, longer sleeves or hem, please make sure to increase your yarn quantity!). As with all KALs, these are non-instructional sessions, but rather, instructor supported so that questions can be answered along the way. We will all knit the same project.

Magna Flora is a circular yoke, flower inspired sweater. It has a simple but striking lace yoke that is a pleasure to have on the knitting needles. It is knit seamlessly from the top down. The sleeves have minimal finishing, are separated at the underarm and are knit separately. A simple touch of lace adorns the flattering hem.

There are many options with knitting a Magna Flora top. The length is easily adjustable accounting for any extra yardage with your project plans. The sleeves may also be lengthened to taste, both short and 3/4 length sleeve options are provided. the hem length can be lengthened with an easily repeatable pattern. The lavender-colored sample is knit with a linen blend, this pattern would also look beautiful in other linen and merino blends.

Line

Our warm-weather best seller, Line, is a unique blend of fibers that offers a beautiful balance of texture, softness, and durability. Made from 53% cotton, 33% viscose, and 14% linen, this yarn combines the best of all three fibers to create a luxurious product that is incredibly soft but still looks like linen with a beautiful drape.

Running length per 50gr skein = about 110 meters/120 yds.
Swatch shows 20 stitches per 10 cm (4").

The garment must be washed separately.

Line and Tynn Line are the same yarn in two different thicknesses - Line is a 4-ply yarn and Tynn Line is a 3-ply yarn.

Magna Flora KAL: JUNE 6 @ 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM [3 Sessions]

3 sessions run June 6, 13, and 20 at 5:00-7:00 pm

Alisa Hartzel has designed this lovely warm-weather knitted sweater featuring a beginner-friendly lace repeat with two sleeve-length options. We will all be knitting this sweater, but you may choose your sleeve length and if you would like to make the body length longer, you’ll just need additional yarn.

It is recommended that you are comfortable with yarn over and M1 increases and Knit 2 together decreases, short rows (German short rows or wrap and turn technique), and have knit a sweater.

This is a Knit-Along, not a class, however, support guidance is available (you can select to add optional private instruction on the Magna Flora KIT page). The purchase of yarn + pattern for the class is mandatory to participate.

**Please remember that the kit has yarn for sizes 1 + 2 (short sleeves option). If you need additional yarn for a larger size, length or longer sleeves, don’t forget to add yarn to your cart!**
