Socktober: Learn to Knit a Shadow Wrap Heel Workshop

The Shadow Wrap short-row heel can be used in either toe-up or cuff-down sock knitting. This heel technique yields a comfortable, fitted, less bulky heel and is perfectly symmetrical on both the inside and outside of the heel. This is not a full sock class, we will only be knitting a heel sample.
What you will need: For purposes of learning techniques, a DK-weight yarn that is ready to knit is recommended, however, fingering/sock weight yarn is perfectly fine as well. Double Pointed Needles or Circular for Magic Loop, for DK weight, 6 US needles, for fingering/sock, a size 2 US needle, whichever you prefer. You may want to try both.
