Pressed Flower Hat: A Lesson in Mosaic Knitting

April 15, 2023 @ 10:30 am 12:00 pm

April 15th and 22nd 10:30am

April showers bring May flowers while knitting this gorgeous mosaic hat! Mosaic knitting requires you to hold only one strand of yarn at a time, making it a great introduction to colorwork. In this class, you will learn how to work the 2-color mosaic pattern, as well as how to read a colorwork chart and decrease in the same style. Knit this floral design now to get a headstart in brightening up your winter wardrobe! Students need to complete the ribbing portion of the hat prior to the start of class so we can jump right into the mosaic.

Level: Intermediate

Skills needed: knit, purl, prior experience working in the round. If you have never worked in the round before but would still like to take this class, please sign up for a private lesson prior to the start of the Mosaic Hat dates.
