Pressed Flower Hat: A Lesson in Mosaic Knitting

February 17 @ 4:00 pm 5:30 pm

Classes are on Feb 17 & 24 at 4:00-5:30pm.

Learn mosaic knitting while making this gorgeous hat! Mosaic knitting requires you to hold only one strand of yarn at a time, making it a great introduction to colorwork. In this class, you will learn how to work the 2-color mosaic pattern, as well as reading a colorwork chart and decreasing in pattern!  Knit this floral design now to bring some spring into your wardrobe! Students need to complete the ribbing portion of the hat prior to the start of class so we can jump right into the mosaic.

Level: intermediate

Skills needed: knit, purl, prior experience working in the round

If you have never worked in the round before but would still like to take this class, please sign up for a private lesson prior to the start of the Mosaic Hat dates.
