Learn to Knit Lace

July 27 @ 10:30 am 12:00 pm

Knitted in cotton yarn with easy to memorize lacy stitch, Summer Bandana is essential for summer holidays. It is knitted back and forth on straight needles. Lace looks beautiful but also looks daunting to create. But this class will show you how easy it actually is. The most basic type of lace that can be created requires the knowledge of only 4 basic knitting stitches: knit, purl, yarn over (yo), and knit two together (k2tog).

Pattern: Summer Bandana
Knitting needles US 2 (2.75 mm) and US 2.5 (3.0 mm)
Knitter’s needle or crochet hook
Sport weight cotton yarn 130 – 200 yards
