We keep our class sizes small to ensure each student gets personalized attention. For this reason, we require students to register for our classes via our website, 72 hours in advance.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are 60 minutes. If you need more time we would be happy to schedule another lesson. We encourage coming early if you need to purchase supplies. Because our instructors are coming just for you, we need 24hrs notice if you need to cancel or change.
Cancelations
Class cancellations may be made up to 48 hours before the first class is held; to be fair to students who cannot get into a full class and to our instructors, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations that take place within 48 hours prior to the start of class.
No refund will be issued for sessions not attended and no refund will be issued after classes have started. No make-up sessions for missed classes unless due to instructor illness or inclement weather.
Age requirements
Everyone must be at least 14 to take the adult classes. Children’s classes start at age 10. 13 and under must have a parent with them or in the store for the entire class.
Materials
Yarn must be purchased at Mother Knitter for all classes; you may bring your own needles and notions, however, we do have plenty of supplies available for purchase if needed. Materials are not included unless specified.
