Embroidery Basics

Spend an afternoon learning the basics of hand embroidery with multidisciplinary crafter Evelyn Levine. No prior experience necessary. This class will cover some fundamental stitches, flowers, as well as tips on how to embroider onto other surfaces such as knits and denim.

Materials:
Mother Knitter “Wardrobe Embroidery Kit” which contains:
– two needles
– eight colors of cotton embroidery floss in various colors
– a six-inch embroidery hoop
– 8” square of dissolvable paper all in a 7×9 Muslin drawstring bag

We will be embroidering directly onto the bag!
