Easy Crochet Granny Stripe Shawl

A different take on the classic Granny Square, the Granny Stripes Shawl is a fun and interesting way to take your crochet skills to the next level! Students will learn how to put basic stitches together to create the Granny stripe stitch, as well as finishing techniques such as weaving in ends. Students will also learn how to change colors if they would like to have a shawl that truly stands out this holiday season!
Level: Adventurous beginner
Skills Required: chain, single crochet
Materials:
Granny stripes shawl pattern by Louis Howe
4.5mm crochet hook
Approx 800 yards dk weight yarn in as many or few colors as you’d like. The size of the shawl can be altered easily. A smaller shawl will require less yarn.
