You can make Socks!
March 2 @ 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Classes are on March 2, 9 & 16 at 12:30-2:00pm.
Socks are such a fun project and you can learn to knit them as well! Many of us here at Mother Knitter love having socks for on-the-go knitting and we hope that after this class you’ll love them as much as we do. Socks in this class will be knit toe-up with a version of a short-row heel called the Fish Lips Kiss Heel by Sox Therapist Designs. This pattern gives directions on how to make a cardboard cut out of your foot to knit perfect-fitting socks! Students should make this cutout prior to the start of class.
Level: intermediate
Skills required: knit, purl, and how to work in the round using the Magic Loop method. As these socks need a tighter gauge to fit, it is helpful to have some experience working with small needle sizes.
Materials:
Fish Lips Kiss Heel pattern by Sox Therapist Designs
US1/2.25mm 30-40″ circular needle
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Approx 100 grams fingering weight yarn
