Join our Mother Knitter Yarn Studio KNIT FOR FOOD team, “MOTHER KNITTER ABUNDANCE OF LOVE” on Saturday, April 5th 10:30am to 3:30 pm for Knit for Food Knit-a-thon. Knit for food is an annual knitting marathon to raise funds for hunger and food insecurity. One hundred percent of the funds raised is distributed equally between Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, No Kid Hungry and World Central Kitchen.

Knit for Food was founded by knitwear designer Laura Nelkin and was inspired by her daughter’s AmeriCorps position at their local food bank during the pandemic summer of 2020. Knit for Food is run by a small but mighty team of volunteers who put their all into ensuring the success of this fundraiser year after year!
