This class is designed to meet the needs of true beginners as well as individuals who consider themselves in the beginner range. Our instructors have the skills to take you from whatever your starting point is and help you advance your knitting skills. This small group setting will provide the individual attention you need to flourish! You will learn: \n\n\n\n● Different weights and types of yarn \n\n\n\n● The relationship between yarn type and needle size \n\n\n\n● How to cast on stitches \n\n\n\n● How to work the knit stitch and the purl stitch \n\n\n\n● How to bind off stitches \n\n\n\n● How to measure and make a gauge swatch \n\n\n\nSupplies: a skein of DK or worsted weight yarn\, size 6 needles (circular is recommended\, but straight needles are also acceptable)\, a tapestry needle\, and a gauge ruler. In this class\, you will learn how to work the 2-color mosaic pattern\, as well as how to read a colorwork chart and decrease in the same style. Knit this floral design now to get a headstart in brightening up your winter wardrobe!
