DESCRIPTION:Sign Up Here\n\n\n\n\n3 sessions run June 6\, 13\, and 20 at 5:00-7:00 pm \n\n\n\nAlisa Hartzel has designed this lovely warm-weather knitted sweater featuring a beginner-friendly lace repeat with two sleeve-length options. We will all be knitting this sweater\, but you may choose your sleeve length and if you would like to make the body length longer\, you’ll just need additional yarn.  \n\n\n\nIt is recommended that you are comfortable with yarn over and M1 increases and Knit 2 together decreases\, short rows (German short rows or wrap and turn technique)\, and have knit a sweater. \n\n\n\nThis is a Knit-Along\, not a class\, however\, support guidance is available (you can select to add optional private instruction on the Magna Flora KIT page). The purchase of yarn + pattern for the class is mandatory to participate. \n\n\n\n**Please remember that the kit has yarn for sizes 1 + 2 (short sleeves option). SUMMARY:Knit-Along Yvonne MT Shawl
DESCRIPTION:Sign Up Here\n\n\n\n\nThis is a four-class series on Jan 18\, 25\, Feb 1 & 15. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: Size US 4 circular knitting needle (US 3 & 5 in case you need to use to get gauge)\, 2 colors of fingering weight wool or wool blend (preferably non superwash)\, the usual tools- ruler/tape measure\, stitch markers\, scissors\, pencil and paper\, sticky notes or highlight tape\, and a printed copy of the Yvonne MT shawl pattern by Natasja Hornby. \n\n\n\nKnit-AlongNatasja Hornby has just released the Yvonne MT Shawl! This “Grand Mosaic” shawl features a two and three color option. The two color option is just as grand as the three color. The three color features a “light intarsia” technique. We will all be knitting the two color option\, however\, if you have experience in mosaic and intarsia\, you may opt to choose 3 colors. Keep in mind the Knit-Along is featuring the mosaic technique and requires the first class session as a pre-requisite. \n\n\n\n*Advanced Beginner skills recommended. \n\n\n\nMosaic technique is a simple technique with impressive results. The “light Intarsia” technique involves changing color mid row\, and twisting the yarn for a smooth transition.
