Knitted Sweater Ornament Workshop

November 19 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Level: Advanced Beginner

Required Skills: How to knit, purl, and basic knowledge of working in the round (magic loop method is used in class but help is gladly given!)

Does knitting a whole sweater seem daunting? Start with this little ornament! Knit top-down and in the round. The construction is very similar to that of a human-sized sweater, making this class a great starting off point for learning the basics of sweater knitting.

Materials: Pattern, Sweater Ornaments by Loretta Dachman
One 50g skein of fingering or DK weight yarn (DK weight will result in larger ornament but will be easiest to work with)
32” US2 (2.75mm) needle for fingering weight version
32” US4 (3.5mm) for DK weight version
One stitch marker and a tapestry needle
